When you explore ManyaEra, you arenβt just browsing a rental or preloved fashion platform β you are stepping into the vision of a couple who turned a personal experience into a heartfelt journey. π
Β
πΈ Their Story
Manjula, 63, a devoted homemaker, and Narendra, 67, a retired businessman, are originally from Rajasthan. π‘ Married for 38 years, they have spent their lives rooted in family, values, and community. Despite being senior citizens, they carry a spirit ofΒ new beginnings π and a deep commitment to making life better for others.
The spark for ManyaEra came from a personal experience. For one religious function π, Manjula ji wanted something elegant to wear. She had a saree she loved but could not find a matching blouse. No one offered just a blouse on rent π, and preloved blouse options were almost impossible to find. Buying a new one cost more than she felt was reasonable for something to be worn only once. This experience made them realize how many women could benefit from an affordable, thoughtful rental option.
Β
π‘ Starting with Their Own Savings
Unlike many startups, ManyaEra wasnβt launched with external funding. πͺ Manjula ji and Narendra ji invested from their own savings to bring this dream to life. Every step β from curating collections to setting up the service β has been their personal effort, built with love β€οΈ, care, and determination.
Β
π Rooted in Faith & Values
As practicing Jains β¨, Manjula ji and Narendra ji live with simplicity, gratitude, and mindfulness. Their Jain upbringing inspires them to avoid excess, reduce waste β»οΈ, and live in harmony with nature πΏ.
ManyaEra reflects the same belief β that we can look beautiful without adding burden to the planet π. Renting and reusing instead of buying new every time is not only good for the pocket π΅, but also kind to the environment π±, helping reduce unnecessary fashion waste and encouraging a more conscious way of living.
Β
π΅ Supporting Women & Community
Beyond affordability and sustainability, Manjula ji and Narendra ji are committed to creating opportunities for senior women and women in need. Many of the outfits are designed and stitched by these women, giving them meaningful work, skill development, and a sense of dignity. β€οΈ This is a way for ManyaEra to give back to the community while celebrating talent and tradition.
Β
β¨ Today & Tomorrow
For Manjula ji and Narendra ji, ManyaEra is not just a venture β itβs a reflection of their values, experiences, and love for family π. What began as a small idea from their own life has now grown into a way to help others dress beautifully for every occasion π while also choosing a kinder path for the environment πΏ.

π¨βπ©βπ§ The Name Behind ManyaEra
